This post is a week overdue. On my last blog post, How To Keep Up With Facebook Groups You Joined And Get Super Active, I have mentioned that I am creating a template for FB Groups Promo Schedule and import it in Google Calendar to remind you of the promo days schedule.
Before that, I want to share first the template (FB Groups Thread Tracker) I created to help you track your blog and social media promotion on daily threads of your favorite FB Groups.
There are three tabs in this template:Link Sources, Thread Tracker and List of Promo Days.
First, before joining threads, ensure that you already have all the links you need to promote like your blog posts links and social accounts. You need to have that one place to get all your links so you don't have to open lots of tabs in your browser and to also help you save more time.
Using the template, just fill in all the details you need on Link Sources Tab.
TIP: Have at least 2-5 different contents to post weekly. Ensure you don't have the same link to promote during the week. You can't avoid meeting the same people on the thread. Don't miss that single opportunity to spread your awesome contents.
Next, list down only the threads that can help you (List of Promo Days) from your favorite FB Groups. Take note, list only the threads you want to participate and not necessary all the daily threads in the group. It would include the thread name, promo day, thread closing time and reciprocation deadline:
This is just a sample not the actual schedule of the FB groups you've seen above.
To make it easier for you to track what thread to post daily, just filter based on Promo Day.
Only check the current promo day you want to track.
Here's a sample filtered for all promotions on Saturdays only:
Copy >>Paste Special>> Values to Thread Tracker Tab.
To make it easier for you, change the date and time of thread closing and reciprocation deadline based on your timezone.
Copy the ✔ symbol once you're done commenting or reciprocating. Then repeat the same process daily.
Here are some FB Groups that can help you:
Just a word of advice, any FB groups can help you grow your social accounts, drive traffic to your website and help your content be seen on social media, but take caution first. Choose the right thread. If you join follow for follow thread, don't go follow crazy in one minute! That's a sign of spamming and you might risk your social accounts being blocked, suspended or closed.
To avoid overwhelm, you can join maximum 5 threads daily. That way, it would be more manageable and you can avoid call outs for not reciprocating. Have a list of specific threads to join daily. Don't be unorganized and just join any thread that you see in your feed. That will cause you some stress and might affect your productivity.
Read the rules before you leave your links. Don't just leave your links and run. You'll be kicked out of the group if you do that.
To get the template, just provide the info below and you'll get access to my Templates Library.
